I really hate the sponsored ads, especially those that appear as headlines in your news feed. It is such an insult to my intelligence.
Just show us news headlines rather than garbage ads that appear to look like news. It's entrapment and very annoying.

Make it possible to eliminate all homepage "news" stories about what celebrity women are wearing.
These stories are both a waste of my time and propogate a celebrity obsessed culture that fixates and objectifies women's bodies. The least you could do is give us the option to say "we don't want this!"

How do I remove news about the Kardashians off my Yahoo news? I used to be able to press X and remove it but you don't allow that anymore.
I want news about people who actually matter and do something for the world, not the Kardashians. Way too many stories about those lame people on Yahoo. I used to be able to remove it. How come you don't let me do it anymore?

When I say I hate it I mean that I feel passionately enough about it to stop using my yahoo account which I've had ever since yahoo was a baby company. It's intrusive, it's abusive and it's super annoying. If you want to make money you have to provide a service e-mail customers are going to enjoy using, not want to swear at every time…

Horrible new Yahoo Home Page setup!
In today's world where people have a BUSY life and time is PRECIOUS, the LAST thing we need is to have our Home Page changed on us and have to scroll down a long list of items to find newsworthy articles which are not sorted in accordance to our preferred level of interest (World News; Canadian News; Local News) and fields of interest. Unless you revert to how it was before (and hopefully CUT DOWN on the annoying ads on either side of the reading space, then you will lose me and I will walk away! This is TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL…

Bring back the old yahoo news page format
The old format may not be new and trendy BUT it was clean and easy to use. At least give us the option to fall back to that format. I guess I shall only be using the e mail from now on as I found the new format awful and well silly.
It isn't a matter of getting used to something it is a matter of usefulness. The tabbed design of the news has provided what to me a useless page and not worth the time to look at. -

Sponsored ads in my inbox?? You have gone too far.
You have just infested the only ad-free space left on the internet. What makes you think every other company's ****** emails are "spam" but it's okay for the ones you make money on to be "sponsored"??
It's hard enough to keep emails down to a manageable level, but now it's exactly impossible. I do not even want another email to delete, let alone one that is starred at the top of my list and can't be deleted.
I will never look at these sponsored ads...EVER. And if they don't stop, I will be deleting my yahoo account. Good luck selling…

The new changes to yahoo news are awful. The font is way too bright bring back black, it hurts my eyes. The page is crowded abd there are too many videos.
I will be switching to google news, too bad I enjoyed yahoo up until now -
Please bring back the old Yahoo Canada homepage, new one is ugly, too long and contains information I am not interested in - Canada 90%
Go back to the old home page which was short and sweet, let you decide what you want to read/watch or followup. Instead of leafing through paper pages, you are now forcing users to leaf through unwanted internet garbage. And the colours and horribly gauche and vulgar. My goodness what a messy homepage. I want my Yahoo Canada, with my choice of topics where I do not have to sift through junk mail! Not a truly functional page and not easy to use.
