bring the comments back
... that is the only feature which makes yahoo interesting to read. Don't make an entertainment feature a political decision in hindsight of the election in US. Or how else can we understand this?

Very disappointed you took out the comments section, guess no point in checking yahoo anymore as they are the best part.
Put comments back, stop stories that have 1 picture and 1 line and then you have to keep going to another page. Do you really want people to read the story stop this as it is so annoying who wants to read them. If it is for more advertising dollars it is not working as I will not continue to click thru,

Get better reporters
Yahoo is at best a second rate news service. It is becoming a second rate service entirely with the cancellation of comments. At one time yahoo was the place to go but after closing chat, games and now comments means yahoo is going downhill fast. The only thing yahoo had against the other online sites is the comments. The others have far better reporting.more Canadian content and generally better sites. Except for email, which I will be transitioning to another site, there is simply no reason to go to yahoo now

Bring back the comments and allow freedom of speech
I've went to a few forum sites to see the discussions about Yahoo suspending commenting on it's news articles and, basically, if you don't bring it back you are going to lose your entire customer base and your company will end up bankrupt. Really, the comments are all people care about.

I want to view my own comments
I want the ability to view my own comments.
I'm sure that you had a reason for eliminating that ability but it will cause me for one to find another website that allows for open discussion of current news events.
