All these new additions to various pages of Yahoo Mail are irritating to see, and it's frustrating that there's no way to remove any of them permanently. In other words, I DON'T want to see Yahoo-assigned videos when I empty my Spam or Drafts folder. Is that the reason behind the sudden, exponential increase in Spam messages turning up in my Spam folder? Does Yahoo want users to go and empty the folder so we can view all these videos?? FYI, some of us don't want to see them... or to see the Olympic medal count box in the Yahoo mail sidebar. What's more, we'd like the option to get rid of it.

I don't want Yahoo deciding in any way, shape, or form what I should see. I just want to use the mail service, which used to be good -- no bells, no whistles, no flash, no gadgets.

Guess what, Yahoo. You're driving us away.
