I have been using Yahoo Mail forever, and never recalled entering a phone number. Never recalled activating Account Key! I had issues with my Mail.app on iPhone (which I use to access Yahoo Mail, and before that I always used username/password on Windows), and so I wanted to log in via browser. I then see that not only do I have to use Account Key (which I cannot, because I've never installed any Yahoo Apps), I also noticed that the recovery phone number was WRONG! I mean it's the right number, but WRONG COUNTRY CODE!

I've scoured the site for a solution, or even a place to send a ticket!!!! I've even called the live support in US (the gentleman was very kind and helpful but could not assist as the account was created in Canada.)

Essentially I'm left with the realization that if there's no way to resolve this, I may one day lose access to an email I've used for decades! Not even because of hacking!

I am still able to access my email through the Mail.App but what if something goes wrong? How will I be able to recover the rest of the passwords or whatnot that I've been using Yahoo Mail for?
