I do not care why you want to link my account to my phone number I will never do it. I will just switch accounts to another provider. So stop asking. Its just another way for the federal gov to be big brother. With your cell phone. The gov knows were you are, can activate your camera to see what your phone sees and turn on your microphone at any time to listen to what is being said with in range of your phone. All in the name of terrorism. G.Bush garbage!!!

    i also have no cell phone
    so i guess there is no way for me to open yahoo account
    seems kind of stupid to me

    you know that all the other email providers ask for your phone number, right? i'm sure you know that already. you must already be privy to this information. sorry for telling you what you already know.

    agree, I have no intention to link my phone to my yahoo account, one sure way to get a bunch of robo calls I do not want, also, I DO NOT HAVE A MOBILE PHONE...
