With the Ashley-Madisongate in the news is it really appropriate that Yahoo should clutter my email account with "Singles" ads that promote available women? How presumptuous!

I realize that the advertising is based on me as an account holder being male, but how do you know whether or not I am happily married? Or gay?

I tried the opt out settings to no avail so I have adjusted my settings to block ALL ads. Too bad because that blocks legitimate product advertisements which may have been of interest to me.
