Ads for videos are too long and too often
Do you really think you can get away with making us watch a 30 second ad for every one minute video? I have decided that I will no longer watch videos on Yahoo.

I've tried and tried to prevent singles ads, ads for lubricants etc ... If I see another ad for that, I'll vomit. They're offensive to me.
I've tried and tried to prevent singles ads, ads for lubricants etc ... If I see another ad for that, I'll vomit. They're offensive to me. Apparently, there's supposed to be a section after you've clicked the X and "I don't like this ad" to explain why it's offensive or inappropriate. There's not. For crying out loud, lose those ads unless they're asked for. I don't go to dating sites, I don't visit weirdo sites ... so how is this ad "geared" to my browsing/email history? Get lost. Seriously

Hi: I cannot believe that I have to watch the same "Coors Light" commercial EVERY TIME.
I cannot believe that I have to watch the same "Coors Light" commercial EVERY TIME I watch a clip. As you know, some clips are 20 seconds long....that's 30 seconds of commercial for 20 seconds of watching. What's worse, is that I have to watch the same stupid commercial to watch another 20 second clip.
I understand that you need commercials to make money and provide a service, BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME?????
I just don't watch anymore.2885th ranked -
Intrusive advertising
Congratulations to you and Apple for finally motivating me to investigate ad block technology. Non-dismiss-able almost full page width banner ads? Bravo...

I'm getting tired of this ... !!!
and I'm getting tired of typing the same complaint over and over, but you keep putting large ads for Apple products at the top of the page with NO close/minimize button, only place to click is a 'learn more' area .... if you and Apple think WE can 'learn more', doesn't it stand to reason that WE can expect THEM to be able to learn more too and stop putting out ads that WE can't manage properly !!!!

Ads are too long!
We have to sit through a 30 second ad to watch a one minute video. This is excessive! This is why Yahoo will always lose to YouTube.

Disproportionate Advertising for Videos
I understand the need for advertising revenues, but putting a 30 second advertisement before viewing a 14 second video is RIDICULOUS!!!
It would more palatable to make advertisements proportionate to the length of the actual video being viewed. Also, please stop putting the same ad for every viewed video. I am really starting to get annoyed by the 30 second The Source ad.

Get rid of articles from Answers.com
get rid of their content, it takes viewing multiple pages to see what the article is about, and they are so ad intensive that it feels like computing circa 1995

why can I delete other ads but not delete apple.
Why can I delete other ads but not apple. When I am looking for something these ads can be distracting and are not appreciated. I look at them once. That should be enough.

Stop ad/mal/spy ware from redirecting me to Yahoo!
I've been victim to adware/malware/spyware that changes my browser settings so that my searches are directed to Yahoo! If this is a purposeful business decision on your part, then I think that's a disgusting tactic that needs to be changes. If you don't support it, then I suggest you take active measures to stop people from ruining your reputation. I for one will not be using Yahoo! because of this awful experience; I'm experienced enough to know how to remove the problematic programs, but people like my parents weren't so lucky and have been stuck with this for a long…

another day, another irritating non-closing ad
Once again, there is a Macbook ad, a LARGE one, at the top of my home page, and once again it has NO CLOSE/MINIMIZE button - how many times do you need to be told to monitor this NON-STANDARD situation and somehow prevent it from happening ??? So once again I must say (type) - WTF???

OOPS !!! My bad !!!
I said earlier the close/minimize button took me to 'why this ad?' and then didn't close.minimize when I returned to the big ad on the home page. However, when i looked more closely, I discovered the neatest little trick you or the ad is pulling !!! The close/minimize button is not the right-most 'box' in the ad, it isn't even a 'button' at all, but 2 right arrows that take you to the 'why this ad' thingy, What a laugh I had at myself when I realized my error (HA HA). The 'close/minimize' is actually an rectangular box to the…
