Even after a written complaint to Yahoo's Customer Services arm, even after a subsequent attack against Muslims in Finsbury Park, London this week, Yahoo refuses to remove an offensive advertisement from a white, right wing extremist group propogating a Muslim attempt to somehow 'take control of Europe' is underway. Europe is Doomed' Shouts the headline. It comes up immediately I access Yahoo's platform to access my e-mail and facebook accounts
Yahoo needs to remove itself from this - and it from Yahoo. Why has this not been done
Yahoo and Google continue to distance themselves from responsibility of content which appears on their platforms currently. The above appearing for the second time - immediately as I opened Yahoo's digital platform - after another sickening attack here in The U.K. (this time targetting a Mosque in Finsbury Park, north London) shows Yahoo had little compulsion or intent to remove it. Despite it being in direct contravention of its' own racial vilification policy. The fact this re-appeared a day after a secular white attack on a religious minority in The U.K. was even more glaring
Is there anything someone sensible can actually do about this. This the second time I have made the same complaint about the same offensive material appearing on my Yahoo entry portal. The last was when the very same offensive item appeared as an 'advertisement' immediately following an attack on the Ariane Grande concert over a month ago in Manchester. Do my children have to read this? In desperation I am ruling out yourselves and the above digital corporate entity mentioned here from either sensible behaviour, responsibility or being capable of either) -M.
