I have shifted to google mail. I dont know what those ***** ups at yahoo are doing. But yahoo mail is very slow and im haviing a hard time retrieving my email or even replying to them. All sort of error are popping up. I dont know what to do with yahoo anymore. Ive been loyal to yahoo. Had this same email account for more than ten years. But i hate wasting some many hours of my time just trying to finish as very simple task like emailing.

Seeing those comments and from my own experience, I think Yahoo! is seriously mixed up. I've been living in the Philippines for almost 3 years now, and very happy about it. However I retain a certain attachment to Singapore (where I lived for many years before) and I wish to see Singapore news, so my home page is https://sg.yahoo.com. But although the home page clearly displays "Yahoo! Singapore", all I see are Philippines news. Apparently, many Philippinos are (rightly) upset to be redirected to Yahoo! Singapore when they want to see Yahoo! Philippines, and I fully agree with them. But for me, it's exactly the other way around. I strongly suspect that this is because Yahoo! (as well as other websites) automatically displays pages based on the user's IP address (itself based on the user's geographical location) and not based on the URL entered by the user. This is not normal. Yahoo! and many other websites are FORCING us to see what THEY THINK we want to see, not what we actually ask for!!!

I've read this article regarding the move Yahoo made. http://manila.coconuts.co/2015/06/03/yahoo-ph-dead-website-redirects-singapore-site It's just so disappointing because I was actually planning to make a yahoo account because I want to use one of its Ymail features. But every time I try to sign up I always get redirected to yahoo sg. At first, I was like "ok" but after typing in my info no captcha appears, and I said "ok! that's it!" SO guys if you want a better email service - just keep on using your gmail and if you dont, make one! I just dont know how you will retrieve your emails or contacts in yahoo..

I don't want to be rude, but we obviously do not want to be redirected to Singapore.
Please bring back Yahoo! Philippines. -

Let's stop using Yahoo! so that they'll know the impact of what they did. I am using Google and browsing the news via Google News Philippines.

So what happened to the Philippines home page?

Yes, after 15 years, it's time to move to somewhere I can get a Philippine home page again. I heard MSN has one. I will really miss Yahoo. I don't understand why they discontinued the Philippine home page. So sad.
