STOP BADGERING ME for "Mandatory Phone Number" and "New Password"! I will NEVER comply with such REPETITIVE BULLYING by Yahoo!
Which part of the word NO do you NOT UNDERSTAND Yahoo...
WE DO NOT WANT TO BE "REMINDED" BECAUSE WE ARE NOT IDIOTS!!!! We have CHOSEN NOT to furnish you with a "Mandatory Phone Number" because we NEVER want to recieve texts from you and it is an invasion of our PRIVACY. No wonder you have had such trouble offloading your company onto a new buyer... YOU don't listen to your customers!

I work in IT security customer service field. I did not use my personal phone since since 15 years ago. I use my company 800# customer service ph# only. The " Mandatory Phone Number " force me give up Yahoo sooner or later. // A smart phone is not safe.

I'm phasing out all my Yahoo accounts to other mail services. I suspect other people/businesses will do the same.

I think they will lose many things with this.
When services become too annoying they will lose people.
I have this email since 2001 (so is like... 16 years) and i only had to change the password when YAHOO asked me to change it, without letting me other OPTION.
Sometimes i am wondering if Yahoo asks or some other phantom that tries to steal passwords.
Who's losing from this? I think YAHOO again. -

Look Yahoo, you are NOT going to get my phone number, even IF I had one, which I don't. Next, I had an alternate email address back when I got this address. That was years ago. The only reason I had it is to get a yahoo address, I do not remember the address nor do I remember the pass word. Leave me to **** alone. If I'm not concerned about my security, then don't you worry about it, it just means I don't risk anything worth while on line because a typical three yer old can hack the internet.

I agree and not everyone has a smart phone. :((((
TWO HACKS in six weeks? Would have been nice if Yahoo provided us with an easy link to reset our passwords - AGAIN. :(

This is getting beyond annoying. Is there any way to get you to stop asking for this information. It's the first time that it won't let me ingnore the command and I have to have you either email me or text me. I'm getting fed up and I'll cancel my use if it continues.

I do not have a mobile phone. I have been using yahoo emails for more than 20 years and never forgot password. Also, avoid collecting personal information. I use this email for personal use and not intended for illegal purpose. Stop sending Spam emails too.

As the self proclaimed head of customer service I decree that the Yahoo email accounts of all the freeloaders complaining in this forum will have their email accounts canceled and closed. This serves as 2 weeks notice which is not deserved, after which their accounts and all information contained in those accounts will be sent into the cyber wasteland. Their isp addresses will be red flagged preventing them from ever using Yahoo services again. Further more if Yahoo customer service is contacted by telephone the whiners will be instructed to contact Yahoo via their Aol email and their telephone numbers will be placed on the blocked telephone number list so as not to waste the time of our customer service representatives again. They act as though their paying for a service and are deserving of making demands. Let them go to another email service provider and drag the competition businesses down. Some customers aren't worth the bother!!!

Wow. And I thought I was the only one who was annoyed by the repetitive badgering for a phone number. Yeah, clearly the folks who run Yahoo don't understand that yes, believe it or not, there are still people on this planet who don't have a cell phone.

Please stop with the harassing notices. My information has been the same for years without fail or complications and I want to keep it that way. Stop requesting any further changes.
Thanks
