Every week, Yahoo decides that it would like to annoy the fire out of me by asking me for my phone number. From the amount of comments on this topic I see here, it appears it annoys the fire out of a lot of other folks, too. The really amazing thing is how tonedeaf Yahoo is with the same manufactured response every time:
