Whenever I have logged out and the following day, log into yahoo mail. I check my account log and usually I see I am still logged in from several active entries. Is this common or do I have issues?

Not just common but universal if you are a regular user. This is done so that Yahoo can track what sites you visit on the web, the better to provide you with so-called relevant ads.
