The weather app on the new My Yahoo absolutely sucks. The current location is not where I live.
This app is not user friendly. It makes decisions for me that I do not want to make. The classic view always displayed my 10 or so locations on the home screen. Now the current location that Yahoo chooses to display is not where I live and holds no interest for me. It does not allow me to display or arrange my locations as I wish. I am going to delete this app as soon as I find an alternative. I wish I could go back to the classic view. This app is intrusive and useless.

Similar problem. How do I clear out the locations so I can put mine in - and in such a way, that they will appear in the order I want them to.

Not only is my home town not the one you list, I CAN'T EVEN CHANGE IT TO THE RIGHT ONE,
even though the data locator recognizes my correct location...Please consider giving us all the
option of returning to the old familiar Yahoo that we were happy with, and fire the person who
decided we should be upgraded like it or not!!!!! -

Have you heard, if it ain't broke don't fix it. You have to improve forward, not backwards. Your weather app sucks. I even had the thought of moving to another home page. That is on thing I learned in business, don't have your customers leave for something stupid.

Why is my location suddenly NY City? I haven't been there in 30 years and probably looked up the weather there on a computer NEVER. It worked fine until two days ago. This new version of My Yahoo is horrible and I want my old one back.

I can not add or delete a location. It stays locked perpetually. This worked great for the last 10 years or so. Why are you people constantly trying to improve something that does not need improving? Not only that, after you install one of your "improvement updates" nothing seems
to work. Why not leave well enough alone? -

Did Yahoo! hire the people at Microsoft who thought up "Windows 8" to ***** up the Yahoo! weather app, too? And - like Windows 8 - not to give us a choice about it? Windows 8 has resulted in the worst reviews for the rollout any new software-related ANYTHING I've ever seen - even worse than the Affordable Care Act fiasco - and now Yahoo! appears to have jumped on the bandwagon. "Take something practically everybody is very happy with, ***** it up completely, and don't let anyone keep or go back to what they want." AT LEAST LET ME HAVE MY SAVED LOCATIONS BACK!

Do you, yahoo, even look at these comments? Tom is right. the weather app sucks. the old one worked perfectly so I don't understand why it now suddenly can't work. I live in Spokane WA and the detect my location puts me in Nichols, SC. I could live with that not working if it would let me put in my own city and save it to show each time but defaults to Chicago, IL which was just a place we wanted to visit so I looked up on Google maps. It won't let me save Spokane as my main location. How stupid is that. I have used Yahoo as my opening pg for many years but you have forced me to go look for a different on. Your loss but I am doing this out of duress not because I want to do it.

I just want to see the weather for my saved locations, not a large fancy photo of my home town (or a sky view). Please restore the table with the saved locations on my front page.

My Yahoo was a great home page I loved it. I had it set up just the way I wanted it. Then you had to improve it or so you said. What a disaster.

@YAHOO You posted that you are trying to find a permanent solution to the weather and local new. Here is the best one...STOP TRYING TO DETECT LOCATIONS. You have absolutely no reason or need to.

Useless app. Not only does it think I live somewhere in Kansas, which is over 1500 miles away (despite my constantly changing it back to CA), but it apparently thinks we're all four years old because all we see is basically a sun or a cloud. I can look out the window and see that much.

This weather app say's that I live in Bangkok,Thailand, but I live in a small village called Nong Nok Kwak, close to Chakkarat. We are 4 hours north east of Bangkok.

I have called 3 times and no one can fix it. My weather is 100 miles from my home. Default does not work either
