The weather app on the new My Yahoo absolutely sucks. The current location is not where I live.
This app is not user friendly. It makes decisions for me that I do not want to make. The classic view always displayed my 10 or so locations on the home screen. Now the current location that Yahoo chooses to display is not where I live and holds no interest for me. It does not allow me to display or arrange my locations as I wish. I am going to delete this app as soon as I find an alternative. I wish I could go back to the classic view. This app is intrusive and useless.

Looks like you are working on the weather location......mine was showing a city about 75 miles away.......now it's moved to a place 300 miles away. It's actually getting worse.......................

Here's what has worked for me that get's my primary location on the weather block. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to list all my weather locations in the block. However it is all there by clicking on "See more details." Not optimal.
Click on the "View your locations" icon in the upper right corner of the weather block.
If you have already selected all your locations then click on the greyed "Manage locations" in the lower right corner.
Click on the "default location" city.
In the green bar area of your default location click on "Change" and select the location you want as your primary location that appears on your front page.
Click on your "My Yahoo" page it and it should refresh with your new weather location. And stay there! If you only have one location then you still need to click on the greyed "Managed locations" in the lower right corner of the weather block and follow the directions.
I hope this works for everyone. It took me quite a while to figure out this much. I agree that Yahoo! has blown this conversion and that their "help/support" has ranged between non-existent and irrelevant. Very disappointing.
As/if I figure out more I'll pass it along.

Please go back to a list of cities defined by the user. Right now, to see weather in multiple cities, I need to select each one individually. Before I could see them all in one window at one time. I don't want to go to a second page. I want all the info on the one myyahoo page like I had before.

I have never seen a change make something so much worse ! the old appoach let you list several cities, see them all and pick a default. Now you have no control. I plan on switching my home page

I used to be able to add another city to see. Even tho I still have both currently in the drop down, I can not see both at the same time. And the icons aren't as colorful and nice as before.

Let me add my very negative view. The "current location" is 20 miles from where I live and can have a substantially different temperature. The Classic weather module let me make that the default. Also, I used to have three other localities listed. Not the single location takes up almost as much room as the four did previously. I recently tried My MSN and found it could be configured closer to the old My Yahoo.

The new weather app had me in Glasgow Scotland. I live in Northern Ireland and it was possible to change but it always reverted to Glasgow. Can it get worse? Yes it now thinks I am in Sunnyville CA and I can not change it. Well done My Yahoo, possibly not "MY" for long.

I live in Conrad, Montana. The weather app first showed the weather for Sunnyvale, California. Now it's showing the weather for New York!?

I live in central California but weather thinks I live in NJ. Can you say off by some 3000 miles.

Even when you manually try over and over again to switch your current location, it does not comply. Stooopid. Who tests this stuff before deployment....certainly not me, or it would work first.
