I absolutely HATE your new email set up! It is not user friendly and has way too much to read. It is not efficient. If it doesn't change in the very new future or if I can't get it back to the last set up used, I will be leaving Yahoo for Gmail. Your customers should have a choice to keep the old because your new is not always better, like in this case!

Confusing, awkward, neglectful of primary usage models. After 15 years of yahoo mail this is enough to drive me away

There is a very smart individual out there that is going to come up with a solid Yahoo replacement. You have made some really bad choices in changing things and what you have done to the e-mail application is horrible. Furthermore, once the enterprising person comes up with a more user friendly e-mail program you will most definitely lose many users. When you lose users you lose advertisers. When you lose advertisers you lose money. Maybe that is what you need to get back to basics. Hopefully it won't be too late. Bigger businesses than Yahoo have tumbled because they ignored their patrons.

It seems that every few weeks Yahoo! make some silly change just for the sake of it, without any real notification or explanation. Today. I can't get My Inbox to load where it always did - in the main body of my home page. I have been with Yahoo! from very near it's startup, but I am getting more and more frustrated with it. My kids, whom I guided into using Yahoo, have now moved on to other sources. In both their cases it's Google. If Yahoo! keeps screwing up, I'll probably follow.

Seriously, when are you going to fix mail? I'm trying to use the old version because the new one does not work for me at all. But I can't even drag messages into personal folders anymore. And there are no tabs so if I start a message then need to refer to something else, I lose my message. There was nothing broken in your standard email. Why release a new version? Please go back to the old one before I switch email programs.

I tried to email a link to someone. Yahoo wouldn't let me because it said I had to add text to the email to make it more interesting. Are you kidding me? Now you're deciding what's appropriate content for an email? I've already switched my portfolios to Google. An email switch will be coming soon if this keeps up.

I agree. I absolutely hate this email now. I thought it was a problem with my PC until I stumbled on to this page while trying to find what happened to my "old yahoo email. This clustered message system sucks! I wanted to forward a message to two different people separately, but could not un-attach my comments to the first person when trying to forward the message to a second person. What the --- Well now that I know that it's something yahoo did, I will give it another week in hopes that they are listening to everyone who has complained here, then on to a competitor. Yahoo needs to understand that if it ain't broke don't fix it. BTW. Why not just let people return to the old set up. It worked fine.

Well, we've been stuck with this email system for over a month now, with no signs of going back to the system that worked and we were comfortable with. It's safe to say, it's time to move on.
These clustered messages don't work for me and I'm tired of missing an important email because it's been embedded somewhere.
Good luck to those of you that stay loyal (I've been here since the mid-90s). I've tried it and waited for improvements to no avail. I'm ready to move on. -

How do I convince Yahoo that this new email is absolutely non-user friendly for me. I may switch to Google if I can't return to the old way.

New MyYahoo is a complete failure. I read the ads in order to have an economical platform to see news and financial information with a bit of sports and entertainment mixed in. I stupidly opted into this new MyYahoo and now I have NOTHING - no stock prices (portfolio does not load), no news (none of the RSS feeds work). One positive is that even though you cannot navigate back to your MyYahoo page from anywhere else on the Yahoo site, it does not matter because MyYahoo does not work any more any way

Why are you all constantly messing with stuff? It's sooooo annoying!!!! People need consistency, yes things change & get better- but for a reason & a purpose; you all are constantly changing the format of your- or rather MY email- and for NO REASON- & that's irritating. When I log on to read my emails & to send emails- I don't want to take time to "figure out" the new format, I want to get in & out of there. There have been many times recently that I have duplicated sending emails- or thought I sent an email but really hadn't- simply because you changed the format AGAIN. Please leave it alone, or give folks an option, cause I don't need extra frustration in my life. If so, I'll open an account elsewhere.
