I absolutely HATE your new email set up. I find it confusing and it is not user friendly. I will change to gmail if not changed for the bett
I absolutely HATE your new email set up! It is not user friendly and has way too much to read. It is not efficient. If it doesn't change in the very new future or if I can't get it back to the last set up used, I will be leaving Yahoo for Gmail. Your customers should have a choice to keep the old because your new is not always better, like in this case!

The new email layout s***ks. I've missed important emails due to the way the emails are clustered. THIS IS NOT AN IMPROVEMENT! You need to go back to showing each individual email!
Even knowing they are clustered, it is still difficult to sort through them to read them all and sort out the useful ones, and to reply to specific ones that are important.I was already annoyed that my 'yahoo groups' content got deleted from my MyYahoo page - since I had been an active member of 3 clubs and now find it difficult to maintain contact - but this new email layout is so awful I'm about ready to dump it, and urge my friends and my last remaining Yahoo Club to dump it entirely and move to facebook.
FIX IT OR I AM GONE.

I suppose it's better in your eyes, but I'm not sold on the new design.
Especially I don't want the Send button way off the end at the bottom of the page. On my PC, the result is just dysfunctional. I have to mouse down to find the button in order to send the msg.
Not only that, but you have taken away some of the good functionalities of the classic version.
Just because it isn't "cute" doesn't make the classic version unloved by some long-standing users....
I suspect that you didn't check this new version out with any kind of focus group, or else you picked only people who are into "gee-whiz" web design like your "omg!" people. -

Not only does the new email system have a bunch of issues but Yahoo is the only major email service that consistently causes problems on Android. They want you to only use the Yahoo app, which is awful. So besides switching to Gmail because of all of the issues with the new Yahoo it would also eliminate all of the email errors I get on my phone. I've already started the process of switching over- everything from email, contacts, portfolios, etc. Google can't be any worse.

Yes, hate the new mail. Frustrating part is I KNOW it's inferior in so many ways (not talking about glitches, talking about design) yet Yahoo has us playing this little GAME of "Tell us how we can 'improve' it." Given a CHOICE I would instantly go to the previous mail with NO hesitations - and then get on with my life!

I also absolutely HATE your new email set up. It's terrible, confusing, inefficient. PLEASE change it back to the way it was. As others have said, I will not be using this for long if you don't change it back.

My biggest issue with this new version is that it never expands to use all my screen. I can adjust the ad portion of the window but still only get about 2/3 of my screen covered. Why wouldn't you extend like every other site in the world, by default? This combined with the terrible My Yahoo update is forcing me to consider OP contention that Google just got better, not because they are better but because Yahoo just got so much worse. The other issues with mail are around how drag and drop works. I used to see my folders on the left and drag content to it. Now I have to click folders first and then the drag will freq drop the folders back or drill directly into one folder and not be in the right place to drop the email I was moving to a folder. Completely broke one of the best features of mail. I also agree with other posters that not allowing us to revert but forcing us to fully commit to the change before migration does nothing but irritate me further.

I want to go back to the old yahoo mail. This new mail is not user friendly, there are so many things wrong that I get a headache just thinking about listing them all.

Your stupid vote system doesn't work either. I was trying to use my 1000 votes to express my displeasure with the new unimproved email system and it doesn't work either. Tell the CEO to go back to Google. Yahoo was great without her.

Isn't it possible to get the old mail-system back. I used to work on my mails in groups, i can't do that anymore. I want to be able to sort my mails by sender. I wasn't even asked if i want the new Yahoo . I am a user of your services for over almost 20 years. It is not a good change. Please make it possible to get the older version back.

I concur 100% with the people who desire to return to the old system. Among the numerous difficulties I encountered where do I start. When the email is enlarged there is no way to scroll it, at this point I realise that there is no hope ofany help fire the designer and bring back the old system. Yahoo has a number of good atributes however if these concerns not addressed you will loose members.
