My idea…. put it back to the old page and then in the future ask people what they would like to see different. If "my Yahoo" page doesn't return to normal in 3 days I'm heading back to Tickerspy.com and setting up my stock page!
Thanks for nothing Yahoo.

I've copied all of my bookmarks and links to my Excite page. It's going to be my new homepage since Yahoo is screwing us users. I also posted a negative comment on the Yahoo facebook page. Letting them know that they are ******* off hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of loyal customers.

protopage.com is a decent alternative, better than the terrible new My.yahoo at least, but I will check out uStart.org as well!

Looks like Marissa and the rest of Yahoo could care less about long time users! Gotta please those new ones, they are sure to stick around for a decade. . . .

I will look for a new home page if you don't give me a choice to keep the old look!

I think the new design for Yahoo Homepage is annoying and the dynamics are all wrong. It's too dark .It's unpleasant. Even The new weather with jumbo photos is terrible to try and read. Please let us have the option of keeping our homepage the way it is. I studied design and this format is just all wrong. The page used to be fun. Now it is a nightmare. And how rude to disable the page way ahead of shut down. Arrogance! Google will catch a lot of new users in February. Bummer.

I hate this new page as well. I've used my yahoo as my home page for years.
I want to set the weather info I get, not the location yahoo is giving me.
My portfolios are awful. I want to see the total worth. Does this thing ever refresh?
The only thing I like is the theme I've chosen, which may be moot if I decide to use a different home page.
Suggestions anyone?? -

I am not looking forward to the new MyYahoo. If it goes anything like the constant changes you make to the e-mail system, I will be gone and back to my old MSN account. Bing is easier to use and does not ***** around with changes all the time. Unfortunately Yahoo does not listen to its users. Also it seems since you are working on this new system Yahoo response time for many documents and especially the finance area are extremely slow. On my bing account I get immediate access.

HEY EVERYONE!! I couldn't take this anymore - I just found a new home page - www.netvibes.com - it seems to have the modules where the headlines are bolded and easy to read. I am going to try it out now. ***** this ****.

Can honestly say I like nothing about the new home page for my.yahoo. I miss being able to see my investment total, miss the small left column for more apps items (scores, weather, stocks) and the larger right side for news items, miss the top stories with the scroll through. If i wanted this look, i would have stuck with google. Bing is better than this.

Agreed!!! Just ask your users what works for them!! Why force us to look for a new home? I too have been a Yahoo user for YEARS, but now alas you have pushed me too far....

Clearly this update was intended to make it "better" for tablet/mobile users, not for computer users. Content has been slowly removed over the years, but this update seems to have reduced the worthwhile content even more. Also, I don't understand why all Yahoo offerings -- in particular, fantasy sports -- aren't available to have on My Yahoo page. I also don't like the layout options, because I'd rather have a narrow column on one side and one big one filling the rest of the page, not columns that are all of equal size. I understand this is a free service, but I do think I'm going to have to find another option, because these changes do not equal upgrade to me.

AGREED! I can't quickly scan the headlines anymore, everything is too scattered. I have been with yahoo with the same email for almost 20 years! I HATE this! I doubt they will change it - soo - does anyone know a page that looked like the old yahoo? I just looked at Google + and I don't like it, either.

I agree with all comments regarding the new "My Yahoo" format. I want my old layout back. If you don't give back the old format you are going to have a mass exodus from your Yahoo.

Agreed, the new page format stinks. We should always be offered a chance to return to our old home page. I mostly use my home page to keep a long running tab of bookmarks on the side, and the new page now clusters them tightly in a series of folders, in a small box that can not be enlarged. The bear bones levels of 'customization' are not sufficient. Either offer us the chance to return to our old format, or let us reconfigure the new page in a manner that will let us recoup our familiar organizational scheme---rather than have Yahoo's design scheme rammed down our throats. As many of the commenters note, we can (& will!) walk away from Yahoo (& Yahoo mail) in droves if these changes aren't made.
