I'm glad the new yahoo home page is faster, but where is the forest pattern and fonts? I really like that format and theme. All the backgrounds but maybe 6 are way to busy a background for me to read the page contents.
Please bring back the old themes and add them to the new ones.

Not long ago AT&T made some changes to their email format. Like theirs your new page is horrible. It is so busy and not user friendly. It seems like the "GEEKS" that work on this stuff think everybody needs ways too much detail. I read your info page, even saved it. So now I have to go to work and rebuild something that is functional for me. Yes it stinks. Fire the "GEEKS" and hire some people with common sense.

Do you really think that everyone wants a specialized theme that you pick? Yahoo has really messed up this time. Looking for another home website. What the ****'s wrong with you people at yahoo?

Hate it!! I don't understand how this is supposed to be better?? We really can't "customize" the page, just choose between 2, 3 and 4 columns! I want to be able to have things where I want them instead of having to scroll clear down the page! Why do you have to keep changing things for the worse!! Very Disappointed!!

The back grounds are horrid!!!! Why not just some basic colors you only see the edges any way. So all you see is the ****** color around the picture edge????? The huge boxes and the non movable ad block is a downer. I know the ads make Yahoo money but please let me move it or at least make it smaller. I never would click on one of those adds any way as I use ad blocker program so it is just a huge white box. Let people adjust the box sizes to see more of the back ground or just offer colors.
Over all no improvement seen and it isn't faster nothing forced on people ever is it is just different **** to get used to. Better is allowing the user to customize. Not every one likes the same thing so at best only 1/3 will like any thing that lacks customizing.
In other words can I go back to the old way. -

The add in upper right corner is irritating & BS. Opted out of adds, but it still shows up.
I'm through with yahoo home page - welcome Google !!

I think yahoo is spreading themselves too thin with this version of my yahoo. Some of my bookmarks just disappeared and people no longer have 1 click access to that social media "time vampire" Facebook. Goodbye Yahoo!

i kinda like it. i like the different themes, especially the lotus/cherry blossom branch. the only thing i do not like is the block/box that shows an ad for match.com! it ruins the whole page theme! why is it necessary?

There are not enough themes and I miss the PERSONAL ASSISTANT. WHERE IS IT? This newer version looks cheap.

Improvements that were made:
My stock market chart with the three major exchanges superimposed and summary that I used daily, is gone. Nice work.
The weather chart insists on my being in San Francisco; I don't live there. I am required to be tracked for advertising in order to automatically detect my location. Bad idea.
Lots of Yahoo effort to make pretty backgrounds. Ruined the data displays in the process.
No Customer support, even via email is provided. Thanks a lot.
