Make my yahoo stop stealing focus from the URL box?
I have used my.yahoo as my home page for many years. However, recently it has started stealing the focus and moving my cursor out of the URL box an into Yahoo's search box as the page loads. Sometimes I have typed a partial google search in the URL box (on Safari) and the remainder of what I type ends up in Yahoo's box. Is there any way to stop this behavior? If not, I guess it will be time to find a new home page... :-( -

"Content View (Apr 25, update) – We have introduced new features to enhance your content consumption experience....."Anyway, if you still feel like your "content consumption experience" is sub-par, Protopage comes close to what my.yahoo was before the UX people got mad and inflicted this mess on its users.
(If it makes anyone feel better, it was free, so how much can you really complain when it dies) -

I agree this new set up truly sucks. I had a panel with my bookmarks all set up so I could scan thru them easy NOW IT'S GONE AND I HAVE TO GO THUR THEM ONE BY ONE. Absolutely a pain in the neck!!! I want the old set up back.

If in the new Windows 8.1, I say to keep me logged in to any 'yahoo stuff ,then shut down then restart I have to re-log in to any yahoo related tabs all over again...... This is ridicules. Like everyone else I say fix it or I will use only Internet Explorer!

I stopped using Yahoo Weather.
I'm phasing out Yahoo Mail for Google Mail.
I stopped using Yahoo Calendar for Google Calendar.
I'm looking for an alternative for my Yahoo Homepage.
This was, and is, due to Yahoo improvements.You people are utterly amazing. How stupid can you be....?

Your new HomePage must be part of a corporate strategy to lose customers as quickly as possible. What was wrong with the old home page? I can't control any of the content, and you can't get my location correct or even what day it is on the calendar. Your CEO must make only $50 million a year.
