The best way to improve things is to leave things alone.
When someone at Yahoo is bored and trying to come up with something to keep them occupied, I suggest that they consider that all yahoo accounts are somehow connected to people. People like to be treated with respect. Too bad you are so connected to a machine that you have stop using your people skills.

I can't find anything under your new format. the sidebar is useless as I've been unable to get it to work. I loved old format!
Bring old format back. New one doesn't work, at all, for any purpose. If you don't change back I'll go elsewhere for my home page and info.

Who's the Moron who designed/approved your new web page?
The new web page is confusing and inefficient. Your eye and hand automatically goes to the top right side of the page where the old Mail button used to be. Now it's on the left side, and requires two clicks to get to Mail. Bring back the old page or at least restore the button to the right.

Please stop the left wing bias
I've posted in the past about the rampant left wing bias on Yahoo news. I realize that no one at Yahoo reads this stuff or cares how a non-leftist feels. But seriously, I counted no-less than 14 posts about the evil Republicans and their "treasonous" letter to Iran. Yet not a single mention of Hillary Clinton hiding her DoS emails, or a cop being shot in Ferguson. Why is being objective so hard for your editors?

Preference is for classic Yahoo homepage; currently using Google as HP.
Respect the requests of those users who have helped you to amass such a fortune that now gives Y(ah)oo an air of indifference regarding the newly designed homepage.

Yahoo, you sure are making Google mail look good. Outlook.com also. Your page and your Nazi password **** sucks.
Man you Yahoo people are dumb. Let us decide our own password strength and bring back the old page. What a bunch of money hungry inbred morons.

Stop messing with what works. People like Yahoo because of the ease of getting the news.
The old Yahoo page was enjoyable with the carousel of news. This new format has no rhyme or reason to the news lists and it just looks like a whole bunch of crud that will waste my time looking through. I usually used the Yahoo carousel to get a quick update on what is happening in the world. Nothing easy about the new layout. It stinks.
