  2. Please do not forget about your loyal desktop users. Needs for desktop users vs. mobile users are very different.

    Can Yahoo! develop two different interfaces for desktop and the mobile users? While the new design may be easier to read on a smart phone, it looks out of place on the desktop. I love Yahoo! homepage because I could quickly scan many things at a glance, and the design seems sparse and clinical (which is why I don't have Google as my homepage). While you try to attract the young users, please do not forget the older ones too. Thank you.

  4. Love the new home page format.

    It's simple, clean, easy on the eyes. I can jump to various products without having to hunt in both the header and left rail. Beautiful!

    Marissa Mayer don't have a clue as to what the people want... She is going to run Yahoo right into the ground...
    A GOOD CEO knows how to keep the people they already have and still bring in new users... MARISSA DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE how to bring the two together... Once the people leave it will be twice as hard to bring them back...

  12. STOP Changing my Yahoo Homepage !!!!!!

    When I turned on my computer this morning, I had the Yahoo homepage that I like and am familiar with. When I cleaned out my cookies and temporary internet files and restarted my computer, I saw that Yahoo once again changed the format of my homepage FOR THE 5TH TIME !!!!! How many times do I and most other Yahoo users have to put up with this ???? Bring back the old homepage and LEAVE IT THERE and stop messing with it !!!!

    This page has much less visible on it. It also has a lot of useless **** -- say, about concerts unrelated to my location: I live in Japan, why do you show me concerts in Grand Rapids MI when I'm signed in? And why do you take users' options away?

  16. Hate, Hate, HATE the Ugly Dysfunctional Design of the New Homepage!!!!!

    When will Yahoo's web designers learn to leave well enough alone? Every "improvement" your designers come up with is stupider and more dysfunctional than each previous version. Classic Mail was perfect, intuitive and highly functional for email communication. You've totally ruined it with every redesign, each version more glitchy and dysfunctional than the one preceding it.

    And now you've totally ruined the homepage too. Is this what your employees have to do to keep busy and justify their inflated salaries? ARE YOU LISTENING MARISSA MAYER?! YOUR USERS HATE THE REDESIGNS! GIVE US BACK THE HOMEPAGE, AND GIVE US BACK CLASSIC…

  17. Looks like you're planning on sticking with this FUBBed new format.

    Additionally, you don't seem to want to put forth any effort to tell us what is happening with Yahoo Maps.

    Then it's time for me to also go elsewhere, even if it means going back to MickeyMouse [MSN].

    I hate the new us home page so i am using the canadian home page. It's still the old format and is much better. if the us format does not change back i will consider going to google. Why does the us page change but not the canadain page? thank god for canada at least they art not messing up.

  20. Tried this new page for a couple of days and it really really sucks. Use to enjoy the comment section after the article and that's gone.

    Very simple. Listen to the people who keep you in a job. Go back to the original page design. Send me an e-mail when you do, I'll be over at Google.
