Yahoo should have a story on this because it's so mind-boggling. Michigan Senate Bill 789 was passed in the wee hours of the morning during horsetrading at the very end of the lame duck session and is now on the governors desk awaiting signature! The bill would change current Michigan law to allow anyone who has a Personal Protection Order (PPO),commonly known as a restraining order, against them to purchase a concealed weapons permit, even in cases of domestic violence or stalking.
