Not fond of the new format. Nor do I like how forced the change is.
This has been and is being discussed. But apparently you don't learn unless you (Yahoo! Inc.) get beaten over the head with it. ALL of your format changes are BAD. Not everyone is here on a mobile device or WANTS a tablet-style interface. When will you get that?
