Start over
The only positive thing I can say about the new page is the menu to the left would be good if it included a link for local news stories.
Otherwise the page is horrible with the worst part being the constant movement in the column containing the stories with the most visits. I would make suggestions but the page is so bad the only way to fix it would be to start over.

Functionality
The new format does not have the functionality of the old one. Although I don't like the look I will get used to. However: several pages are no longer accessible from the homepage (i.e. Celebrity); the horoscope is not personalized but stuck on the sign for the current month (plus the current service does not allow you to look ahead even one day; sports teams are no longer personalized; weather is no longer personalized; news stories do not have the diversity they did before (on my feed they are mostly entertainment with almost no us or world news stories). Do you not listen to your viewers?? Give the people what they want, not what you want to give them. This new format is incredibly difficult to navigate. Let me put it in a language that you might understand...it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
