Return to a format that breaks the headlines into categories,
It's important to me to be able to scan the headlines and read the ones that hold the most interest to me first. Often, I'm pressed for time so this approach works well for me.
I generally will read the rest of the articles throughout the day. I liked the options available to choose news from different categories. Personally I could care less about sports so I wouldn't choose that option.2581st ranked -

The new format is awful. It's an amateur design that is so unorganized and dreadful to read.
It seems that the old format was back for a few weeks but now today this new format is back go back to the old format or give readers the option between the classic and the new. I will be leaving if this is it.

Your web designer should be fired for this terrible layout
Really???! I've had Yahoo! as my home page since 1996, so I've been through this before...but this is quite possibly the WORST home page design ever. There is no personalization of the page, just a bunch of random news stories and ads. I can't believe a managing editor would approve this design. Congratulations, for the first time in my computer life I am switching mny home page to MSN.
