This is nothing more than a branch of the TMZ style celebrity style gossip. it is nothing more than BS social media worthless information, not many real people even care about. There is not one bit of real substance of any real news until you scroll way down the page and that was a terrible article that had little merit of even being real news. This new home page makes AOL look like a leader. Do you really want that. Did you hire a bunch of fired MSN web designers?
FIX IT or at least give us an option to use the prior format. Who does this with out testing it in the market place? That would be the draconian Yahoo fools. Just force it on them and they will eventually like it. No we will change, we do have many options these days.

this is a terrible design. what idiot created this poorly designed home page. home pages are a launching pad to go somewhere else. fix this.
make it simple, not confusing. it should be simple. look at your competition. simple is better. This is a mess. get rid of the BS twitter feeds on the right side. I have a twitter account for that stuff. I don't want to see that on a home page. if you had used a focus group of real users they would have told you that this is a disaster.

Go back to what you had and what worked
This new page is an awful eyesore. It is overcrowded, too busy, and just plan awful. I was so happy a couple of weeks ago when this same format went back to the old version. Now the new trash is back and it needs to be taken out forever.

This is terrible, please post how to switch off this terrible page and get back to old page.
Tell us how to switch back to classic view, this home page is horrible. I am forced to go to Yahoo Canada right now if I want to use Yahoo, because this new page just will not cut it. Going to finally delete my links and account if you can't fixt this in a week or so. Bad move, prepare to tank Yahoo.

Not happy with new Yahoo page 11/1/14.
Much harder to navigate. Too cluttered. Nothing pops out at you, Just blends together. Easy to miss stuff. Is there anyway I can go back to the old page?
