My treadmill was having the incline motor replaced by a local Nordictrack
assigned tech. upon his arrival he inspected the machine. he reinstalled the
software and stated that may correct the issue. upon turning the
treadmill on its side he inspected the treadmill and found a ***** on the
frame of the treadmill. He said he will not do the repairs because
according to the Nordictrack lifetime warranty Nordictrack replace the
machine. He was going to take some photos. I asked him to let me wipe the
machine as I had not wiped the machine in two weeks awaiting the repairs he
said no need it looks fine you won't have any problems. He said I should
hear sometime soon about getting a replacement machine. after three weeks.
I have not received any official notice from Nordictrack of any action nor
has any inspection or technician visited me to confirm the status of the
machine. I am writing seeking the official correspondence or attachment to
an email with the official correspondence letting me know what the status
is on my Treadmill and what I should do or my rights within the contract with
nordictract.
At this point of I believe I have waited sufficiently to receive an
official notification from Nortictrack of the next step that needs to be
taken. In accordance with the lifetime warranty that covers the frame of
the Treadmill which at this time I am not able to use as intended. I
purchased this Treadmill in good faith that your company would be responsive
to the customers’ needs in all situations based on fair wear and tear and
conditions beyond the customers control which this one seems to meet that
condition as I did not purposefully break the frame of the machine. As no
one from NordicTrack has made an appointment with me to come to my home to
inspect the equipment.
