Language Won't Close. Hides News Articles
Cannot read news articles because Select Your Language box won't close! English is selected automatically, can't change to another language. Box scrolls down and hides all the news. X button to close the box does not work. Using latest version of Safari on MacBook Air

I am getting a terrible dialog box on the homepage asking me to choose my edition in Safari. It's clearly a browser / coding issue
My older version of Safari doesn't allow me to X out the box asking me to choose my country edition. There's no way to get the box off of the homepage. I like Yahoo but this has made visiting your site unworkable. My older MAC doesn't have enough memory to update my IOS. Please fix this well-documented browser conflict so I can visit your site again. Thanks.

Not receiving email notifications for comments or updates
For the past month I have not received any notifications by email or the notification bell for updates and whether someone liked or replied to my comments. How can I get this resolved and no I have NOT unsubscribed to notifications.

Other Yahoo URL's redirecting to www.yahoo.com
A search, including by Yahoo search, finds an article. Click on result and some of the time I land on www.yahoo.com instead of the article. Some of the time I get the article.
Of note, in the past few days, the percentage of time that I land on the www.yahoo.com page instead of the article has increased to well over 50%.
I don't know if this is server overload or something else. An error, such as 500, I would understand. An error where HTML loads and CSS doesn't, something else I would understand. But pretending there isn't an error and…

Apple Update 17.0.1 mutes incoming texts
Can anyone with Yahoo experienced problems with the new Apple update 17.0.1? There are a lot of forums on the Apple community complaining about particular problem. The update has removed new incoming texts. Apple has no idea how to fix this problem.

Although video ads are muted and show up with the x over the volume within the ad itself, they are blaring loudly. Please fix.
Please fix your video ads. I see I'm not the only user with this issue. All settings, including the volume indicator on the ad itself show that they are muted, but nonetheless they blare loudly. Yahoo had been integrated into my workflow at work, but now I can't use it at work at all, which is about 5 daily hours of use that you're missing out on. I also don't use it at home as frequently anymore just because sudden blaring ads are anger inducing, especially when we've done everything we can to disable it.
