Thank you for reaching out regarding not being able to place players listed as Out in the IR spot. Players must be listed as IR in order to be placed in the IR spot in fantasy hockey. They are designated as IR once they are officially placed on the IR by their respective teams in real life. If your league is a private league, there is the IR+ position that can be added and used. This is used for players with the IR, DTD, or Out designations.
