Matchup numbers should be reversed
In Fantasy Football, the matchup colors/numbers for defense are sooooo confusing. Green means a good matchup, red means bad. Got it. That makes sense, but then you guys have the numbers all screwy. It seems like you have the rank of the offensive position against the defense, instead of much more simply, the rank of the defense against the offensive position. For example, this week, Jameson Williams faces KC. And the matchup is in red, meaning a bad matchup, but then the number in parentheses next to KC says “25th.” I’m assuming that means that WRs rank 25th against KC, but that’s a real weird way of showing it. And you know why? It’s because “25th" appears right next to KC. So to me, this means that KC is the 25th ranked defense. Also, we are so used to low numbers being good and high numbers being bad. So, this reads like KC is the 25th worst defense. So… what would make waaaaaay more sense is to list it like this: KC (7th). This way I can EASILY tell that KC is the 7th best defense against WRs. Right? It’s a bad matchup for Jameson Williams because he’s going against the 7th best defense vs WRs. Simple.
