OK I will remind the college football community that Tulane is used to no respect and surprising everyone. I watched in 1970 as they won their first bowl game in 30 years over the highly rated University of Colorado. Subsequently had an undefeated season ending up Number 9 in the country and before we all forget defeated USC in the Cotton Bowl before the CFP. Sure rooting for the “5” may be like kissing your sister most of the time, but annually they sneak up on unsuspecting real football schools like Northwestern.
