Please stop sending app notifications that contain sports result spoilers.
In the latest example, Yahoo sent a notification to my phone that said "Michigan clinched victory". This spoiler notification is very frustrating to those of us who recorded the game and hoped to watch it later. Furthermore, Yahoo has not provided any method for users to disable Bracket Mayhem notifications. If disabling these notifications isn't an option, perhaps the notification could just say something like "Tournament Complete!" or "Champion Crowned!" or some other message that doesn't spoil the outcome.
Please support healthcare workers, emergency responders, other night shift workers, and all the rest of us who just want to be able to enjoy games at a later time, by refraining from sending spoiler notifications, or at least by providing us a way to opt out of these spoiler notifications. Thank you.
