What happened to my "print" email option?
In old email mode I could print the email out. What happened to that option?
Hi there,
You still have the option to print in new mail. Simply open the message you would like to print and tap “p” on your keyboard or click on the printer icon at the top of the message. Your message will open in a print window. This help page explains how to print in New Mail:

I am unable to print my attachments or my emails now that I have upgraded. My contacts did not come over to the upgraded version .

I am unable to PRINT the entire e-mail. A lot of it gets cut off.
Return to the former Mail!!! I was always able to print the contents only of the e-mail & in full. Now part of the e-mail gets cut off.

I can't print out anything without the sidebars. The little print icon on any email simply opens up a box that shows nothing but a big "X"

If you cannot see the print dialogue, it may be possible that your browser is blocking the print window. Please try disabling any pop up blocker while you print.

TERRIBLE PRINTING
What happened to the Print button under the "More". Now it prints all the junk on the left margin. The body of the text that I need is left off. DO NOT LIKE THIS FORMAT AT ALL AND I DIDN"T ASK FOR IT TO BE CHANGED!

OK, where is the more button, + the print. The instruction says hit the printer icon. Where? or I am blind? if I do ctrl-p NO!
give a printer Icon with the options that we had in the old version. It would allow to cut or copy. then I could put the email into notepad, write, or Word and edit the email getting rid of old and/or useless information.

Only want to print e-mail info not everything on both sides of page adds etc.
Why can't we just print the e-mail info and not the adds and other things on side of the e-mail? It was so easy before. Not impressed with new format.

We still need to PRINT occasionally
A criticism... relying on the browser and system print functionality seemed like a good idea, but it won't properly format multi-page emails.
A suggestion.... Spawn a new tab with just the content of the email without the full header then the system print dialog can handle it better,
You need a PRINT button to do this.
You can hit the P key to print an email, or you can open the email and select the Printer icon next to the From field.

Allow SENT mail to be printed ( eg when Mailer Demon occurs )
SENT MAIL needs Print access in case a MAILER DEMON notice occurs. The new Mailbox has omitted this !

Please note that the print option is available for messages in the sent folder. Just make sure to click on “view original message” to expand the full conversation, hit “p” on your keyboard or click the print icon on the message header.

Enable printing a selection of the email or printing only the email without yahoo webpage graphics
I want to highlight a section of an email to print, or only print the email itself, and not print graphics of my inbox - I used to be able to do this, but with the "New Mailbox", I am only able to print page 1 of an email (and ONLY page 1!!) containing graphics of my Inbox that I do not want - how did this printing control get so messed up?! 8/9/2018
If you use the Print option in Yahoo Mail (as opposed to printing the webpage), just the email and its content should print.

print button does not exist
Print button does not exist, and it is not an option in in right click or from any menu. The browser print function shows too much garbage on the page (mailbox details, headers, toolbars, etc.). I just need to print the message without taking a screen shot.

To Print an email you can do one of the following:
1.) Select the checkbox next to the email and select Print from the Options (three dots …) menu
2.) Open an email and select the Print icon in-between the sender’s address and the received date at the top of the message
3.) Select an email’s checkbox and press the “P” key on your keyboard.

PRINTING ICON NEEDED
You need to have a PRINT icon easily accessible and visible for either every email message or at least on the main menu!! When you print from the Internet browser feature, the message you want to print gets cut off! Please!
The Print icon is along the top of each open message in Yahoo Mail, between the subject and the date. You can also press the “P” key to print an email quickly.

Currently, the Contacts load in the Classic view. You don’t need to upgrade in order to print out the list of contacts. The Print option should still be under the Actions menu.
