Please allow user to block more than 1000 spam emails.
Please allow user to block more than 1000 spam emails. I have exhausted 1000 limit in 6 months with increasing spam mails daily and now can not block any more senders. I am getting 15 to 20 spam emails daily. Or you needs to increase your security.

Old emails deleted
I've lost all emails from before 2006. I know that's a long time ago but I had a lot of memorable messages from before that date that I would be keen to read again. Is there any way to recover them? and is there any way to prevent further messages from being deleted?

Do not restrict mailbox sizes
Your move to restrict mailbox sizes is very bad. It is seriously detrimental to usage.
Especially when you provide no way to identify / manage which are my biggest emails / attachments by size.
We do! Depending on which version you're on, you can find Manage Storage in your Settings, or you'll see it in the left hand navigation (cloud icon). From there you can tap on it takes you to your Storage Landing page where we give you deleting tools to get you under the threshold. Thanks.

Mailbox storage limit
Hello, I keep receiving the message that "Your Mailbox storage will be full in 21 days". I've just deleted over 2500 emails from past years. Why do I keep receiving this message? Thank you.
Hi there, once you delete emails from your Inbox, please make sure to empty trash and spam folders too. Once you do this as well, you'll see the storage numbers decrease. Thanks!

File Sizes
Storage: there seems to be no way of finding out what size your emails are, ordering them in size order, or doing anything to that could help customers reduce their storage. Every suggestion made by AI about menu options and tips for Yahoo mail is wrong. When you go into Settings, there is no Manage Storage option, just Appearance, Mailboxes, Notifications etc. As you are so cruelly reducing the 1Tb allowance down to not 100Gb, not 50Gb, but a paltry 15Gb, how about giving us poor customers some help so we can reduce our footprint?

Hi Rafael, you can sort by size from your Inbox. Please look for Largest First in the sorting options. You can also go to your Settings and tap on Manage Storage for more deleting tools. Thanks!

Everybody is increasing storage in 2026 you are decreasing storage. Not the best idea!
That's odd! Can you tell us which competitor is increasing their storage? We certainly want to know! Most of our competitors are decreasing and we are one of the last ones to have to do it. Very sorry! We are still offering the most storage for the cheapest price or we provide you with deleting tools to get under the threshold. Thanks!!

Email Storage used
Provide dedicated link or Icon to find out how much storage is currently being used. The pathway suggested in your "help"/guidance gave no options beyond "Add or Manage Accounts" and "Sign Out". IMHO worse than useless. If you're going to hand out what are effectively threats then at least have the information in them outside of the threats be useful.

More available storage that is fair and competative to the other carriers as noted in my message.

Yahoo mail went from 1 TB of storage to 20 GB and I just go a notice that yahoo is dropping it to 15 GB. This is so unfair because I get so many ads that the ads pays for at least 500 GB. Yahoo mail went from most elite email company to at least in last in storage satisfaction ( asking my friends and colleagues and all are very disappointed with this corporate decision). Remove the threat of losing emails because of storage
Hello, I do not understand why there is a limit on my storage, I just delted 10,000 (2) times, I do not have time for the threat of losing emails unless I purchase a plan?? This is not FAIR!!
This is shared with all communication and in help articles, but once you delete emails, you do have to empty your Trash or Spam folder. Then you will see your storage number decrease. Thanks.

malware ads by Yahoo
Stop sending ads that are malware. I keep getting them thinking they are real ads but they are spam/malware. If my computer gets infected because of one of your ads you will be held responsible

I am reporting a deceptive and potentially dangerous advertising practice in Yahoo Mail. Yahoo Mail is displaying paid advertisements inside the inbox in a format that closely resembles a new email message rather than a clearly separated ad. Because these ads are made to look like real inbox items, users can easily click them by mistake while trying to open legitimate email.

Block and delete pornographic emails
Should be able to ‘block all’ in same way as it’s possible to ‘select all’ and ‘delete all’.

My inbox always has an AD that appears like a new mail message. If accidently opened it prompts a virus alert. Does Yahoo monitor or control the ads presented?
