    Please allow user to block more than 1000 spam emails. I have exhausted 1000 limit in 6 months with increasing spam mails daily and now can not block any more senders. I am getting 15 to 20 spam emails daily. Or you needs to increase your security.

  3. Old emails deleted

    I've lost all emails from before 2006. I know that's a long time ago but I had a lot of memorable messages from before that date that I would be keen to read again. Is there any way to recover them? and is there any way to prevent further messages from being deleted?

  5. Can I block a certain advertiser form the adds or change the type of advertising I see?

    allow users to change ads or categories of adds to meet our needs. Not just what we have been browsing. For example, I had been shopping online for Christmas, now I keep getting adds for those stores, which I will not shop at again until Christmas next year. How about the option to change categories from retail stores to maybe travel, or vehicles. That might entice me to purchase from them.

    911 Yahoo SPAM FILTERS...
    Yahoo made major changes to the algorythms and the resuts are horrible...
    PLEASE bring back the SPAM FILTERS that were real SPAM FILTERS...
    n.b. I NEVER comment on software but this time, it's way too much... we pay for the service so please, provide the service...

I apparently blocked an important email address, because the company checked their firewalls and I've checked my firewalls, but it still won't come through. But its also NOT listed on my blocked emails. All I have is ONE address blocked & I know before all this changed to their "New" email that this list was much longer. Apparently I cannot access who I've blocked in the past, & I obviously accidently blocked this company. I may have…

  11. Cox.net transition is a nightmare

    Since I started my Cox transfer it has been a nightmare on my Mac and my PC. Even my My.Yahoo home page on the Mac is screwed up. Only device working properly is my Samsung Phone.

  12. Downloading attachments not working. Can only use Preview and then right click to Save Image as. Please fix.

    I used to click on the name of the attachment which then opened up the Download function. This no longer works nor does the download icon in Preview. I have to right click on the preview image and select Save Image As. What a pain! Fix it.

    This issue is currently under investigation, we appreciate your patience and understanding while our team finds a fix ASAP. As a workaround, the attachments can be downloaded using the Basic version of the webmail. To switch to the Basic version of the webmail, log in at mail.yahoo.com from a laptop/PC browser, click on Settings > More Settings then the option "Switch to basic Mail" will be on the left side.

    Strenghten spam detection! I regularly mark emails as spam, but similar emails are NOT detected as spam, make you spam detection more proactive. I am getting too many in my inbox

    Better effort on the part of Yahoo is needed to detect spam before letting it get through to users.

  15. Yahoo Mail has gotten slow

    Why has Yahoo Mail gotten so painfully slow over the past couple of weeks? Is there a way to correct it? I use it for for both business and personal use, and it has become a real problem. What is the plan and timeline to restore it to a normal speed and response time?

  17. Dating ads

    There is no way I can stop dating ads. Nothing to click on to stop even temporarily. Please, please end these ads. My husband has access to my email. These are highly troublesome! I've tried everything outside of having to spend my hard-earned money to block or even temporarily stop them. Anything Yahoo can do is most appreciated.

    Ads that present a false sense of a security threat SHOULD NOT be presented on the email platform. Ads are fine for a free product, but showing ads that state that a virus is detected, should not be present in the platform. (Presented by good ole McAfee!).... Stop encouraging people to worry about their computers when there's no threat!
