Get rid of the sign in key garbage.
Get rid of this blasted sign in key it's stupid to have to use my phone to be able to get into my account on my pc I hate it and I know others do too. I have asked you to remove it from my account so I can get back into my email like it used to be but obviously you people are to stupid to do as a user ask what **** part of I hate this do you not understand and please put things back the way they were. I don't see how that is so hard to understand.

To turn off Account Key, just follow the steps in this link:

Thank you!

I updated my log-in process about a week ago after being prompted to do so at the log-in screen (I am using a laptop).
Now, every time I want to log-in to my account on my laptop, I have to get Yahoo! to send me a verification code via a secondary email account and then use that code to access my yahoo! email.
I NEVER had to do this sort of rigmarole in the past and I want it to STOP immediately. It's annoying.
How can this be resolved, so that when I sign in, I actually SIGN IN to my account...instead of having to go through this ridiculous two step process?

this is my issue too. It only happens on my PC, not on my cell or tablet. I have to get a code sent to my cell and then enter it in order to access my email on PC. WTH? Never had to do this before...

Yahoo would not let me log-in to my e-mail, they wanted to send me a code via Gmail to verify it is me. I can’t access my G-mail until I can log-in. I had to go find my wives tablet that was already signed in to get the code Yahoo sent. Then back to my computer to enter it. How do they expect you to retrieve an email if they will not let you sign-in?
