display name default
I could not think of such a bad default display name. You make it be of the form
x .
where x is the email name, like john in john@blah.com, and why in heck is the dot (.) there? Who in heck's name knows?
How about having display name default to the name of the person? Or if you don't have that, the email name only, without the dot?
