Better effort on the part of Yahoo is needed to detect spam before letting it get through to users.

    I am abandoning yahoo email after 15 years because I receive 100+ spam emails daily in my inbox. if they would have simply sent the majority of them to my spam folder....

    Need help

    I keep getting phony email from a spammer that most likely contains virus or malware . The spammer uses names of my friends that he got from my address book some time ago. (I don't know which email program he got those names from.) Blocking those names does not help because all I am blocking is the latest address the spammer has used and the spammer keeps sending messages from different email (undoubtedly phony) addresses. What can I do? Here are three email addesses the spammer has used to send me emails supposedly from my friends. Surely they contain viruses or malware.

    There is no way I can preset automatically forward of certain emails I choose in a filter to be emailed to other following the preset filter I chose. This is a pain in the neck because I had to open email accounts other than yahoo like Google which they have that option, but I pay for Yahoo Plus and not even it has that option... So I have been more than 10 years with this email and can you figure to change email because of that lacking??? This matter is being complained by a lot of users I have seen in the yahoo forum.

    This matter is a downgrade inn respect of other email providers which they have filters to forward certain emails I choose to be forwarder based on the filter preset.

    It would be great, the head of the department that handles that service to consider making this upgrade.

    I am done with trash Yahoo. Your email has been slow to send emails, and the spam filter isn't catching tons of SPAM that show up from email address that look like this: ewhruifhuerwygfu4r3287432ry4382g@yellowturtle.net that claim I've won free prizes. I clicked the sqare box that is then supposed to have a checkmark in it so I can send it to the SPAM folder and yet the email came up with a large suspicious image that kept flashing and changing. This is the last straw, I'm going to Google. I have to hope my laptop doesnt have viruses now thanks to how worthless Yahoo is.

    Your spam filters are not working. Though I have marked many emails from a particular sender and added it to my contact list, you still send it to SPAM folder. God knows how to fix this.

    Stop sending my email to Spam! I mark it as not spam ever day & it is still sent to the Spam folder! I have set up a filter to stop getting spam and every day an email comes into my inbox that should be filtered. Are you folks owned by Anheuser-Busch?

    Your SPAMGUARD DOES NOT WORK?

    Every time, I select an UNWANTED email as a SPAM, it keeps coming back every time!

    The amount of Spam and ads going through to my inbox is appalling. It's probably 2/3 of emails going into my inbox. This is unacceptable. I spent a few hours last week going through my inbox and selecting dozens if not hundreds of emails as spam. I opened it today, and sure enough the last few days worth of new emails are spam/unsolicited ads. FIX THIS!

    Email is free in all other sources except Verizon Please sell the company who does not keep allowing Simplesafe and your many other spammers. I ve been with the original source code and its writers for years and using spammers to generate income sucks

    This app turned on my spam filter and I did not notice for two weeks. WOndering why I am not receiving mails. Turning it off is more complicated than doing a home made moon rocket launch. **** everything yahoo stands for

    I've a problem with my email, but I don't know how to contact you guys. Block feature has been disappeared from my options. I cannot block any spam email. i just delet it, then it come back again and again.

    need to update spam filter so you can block more than 1000 so good idea if you could fix up to a few thousand at once?, people need to get rid of unauthorized mail that drips in sometimes

    This is important. Tired of getting SPAM about nonsensical medical cures, gambling, etc. Can't block by sender because the senders vary, with many senders using fake auto generated sender information.
