I have always diligently marked certain emails as spam, so for years very few would get through to my inbox. Now, I am having to do it a dozen or more times per day, and I still get spam mail. Yahoo's spam filters suck!

This has been going on for a few months now. Lots of **** getting in and its very easy to identify but the weird characters in the subject line. Just accept that ANYTHING with asterisks etc in the file name is JUNK and flush it.

My spam mailbox is being flooded with "Ukranian f*ck buddies" messages. Why don't you filter these out like Gmail does???? Can't block them. When I click on the menu, the block option is not there. Also, if I can block them, as soon as Yahoo deletes them they reappear. Please do something!!!

Received scam using ******@yahoo.com. I know the person whose email was used but we have not been in touch for a few years. Whoever used this has access to her contacts. The account holder should be contacted and alerted to this.

You have feature not only to delete spam but also block senders.I find this useful in reducing spam However, this is limited to 1000 addresses. When full can only reuse by deleting blocked addresses one by one - a slow process. Can you not add a button to delete oldest entries or blocks? -

Please improve your spam blocking protocol/algorithms. It couldn't be more obvious that emails like "communications@velzljmqvjse.vtncanada.org" are spam. I get at least 5-8 emails a day that are blatantly fraudulent, fake offers & emails that could be easily blocked.

The amount of Spam that reaches my inbox is ludicrous. I spend most of my morning just clicking on Spam to report it. Then again at the end of the day. If it's not fixed soon, easier to just transition to gmail. Please help!

No idea. Just would like confirmation when an email is genuinely from Yahoo.

The amount of spam in my inbox is ridiculous. Everyday I get tons. And the spam folder has hundreds. My Gmail has 0. yes, 0. Yahoo is selling our info.

On the main Yahoo.com page, in the upper right corner is the Mail icon. If I'm logged in, I can hover over it and a dropdown shows my latest several emails. But over the last couple months, it's also been showing new Spam messages in addition to any new Inbox emails. I don't believe there's any Setting for this dropdown so I can only think that some code or algorithm changed that pulls Spam as well as Inbox emails into this. Any chance you can look at this and determine where the bug is?

Why can't Yahoo block ALL spam from zoqloq.com on your end?

I have been getting hit with at least 20 spam emails in my inbox for the past week, not even going to my spam folder. I block each email sender, and still get the same spam emails the next day. This is ridiculous.

account-security-noreply@accountprotection.microsoft.com should not be blocked by spam filter.

I really want to see these blue dot McAfee, blue dot Costco and other type things NOT arrive at all in my Yahoo.ca mail. The "sender" bolded name in the Inbox listing, is always with a blue dot, then some spaced-out form of, say, McAfee, like -M+c+A+f+e+e-, bolded. Surely your system can filter out these, as I don't know how many filters I am allowed in Yahoo Pro, which I have. I am cautious about what I read online in Google, but maybe reading a few ads in CNN or something caused this...

Please set up an incoming-to Yahoo.ca [my form of Yahoo mail] Spam elimination, as other email providers seem to do a lot better. I really like the Yahoo format, decorated message "writing paper" one can use, nice way of arranging everything -- but something is terribly wrong with allowing so much obvious Spam into the user's Spam folder.
