How about have a setting to block every email that is not in contact list? Even with all these filters, I'm still getting trash emails in the inbox. Be nice if emails coming in that weren't in contact list were deleted immediately. Yahoo is doing a ****** job preventing spammers and scammers from mass mailing yahoo users. This needs to be taken care of now!

A one-click command that will immediately block offensive or annoying SPAM emails by simply selecting the email tick box without needing to open it to view any details of domain name or sender. This would massively help with email security, protection and privacy. The existing way of blocking emails is far too complicated and hidden under 'more settings' whereas it should be easily accessible and obvious

I am getting a LOT of garbage emails (sex offers, ***** enlargement, etc.) with no return address in the message but it is shown in the raw message. These emails cannot be blocked. That menu item does not show up for them. Please fix this, asap. It is very annoying and undesirable. Yahoo can do a better job of just blocking this garbage in the first place. I never see this garbage in my gmail accounts.

I have listed a few domains to be blocked on yahoo settings and am still getting horrible spam emails with the domains that have explicit language in the titles. Why are these domains unable to be blocked?

Why are certain domains unable to be blocked? I am getting horrible emails in my spam folder that have titles with explicit language soliciting sex. I DO NOT OPEN THESE EMAILS. I look at the raw message to get the "from" email and then manually type it in to block it.
I have listed their domains for blocking, but still receive emails from these domains. I HAVE NEVER subscribed or authorized anything to get these graphic emails. The email addresses have co.uk at the end. THEY HAVE GOTTEN SO BRAZEN. Can anything be done to block these domains?

Please allow the user to manage times for automatic spam deletion. 30 days is too long, I would like to set my spam folder automatic deletion to 1 day or even immediate but cannot do it and have to do it manually every couple of days. I remember there used to be such settings before and it was comfortable but is removed now.

To reduce spam, please make accidentally opening one less likely.
When I try to checkmark the checkbox to the left of an email in my inbox that I think is probably spam, often it does not produce a checkmark, but instead has a delayed reaction and then the email opens. I didn't want to open it. When I do open it, maybe it sends a beacon to the spammer saying that I opened it, and then they likely send more, which is bad for both you and me.
I suspect this happens with only certain spammer/s. The email I get that has this problem is some of what comes from one sender. You don't want me to enter an email address here, but if you can look in my account, in the folders named "prob spam . . .", you'll see emails from the domain publicitateooh dot ro (the ccTLD is for Romania). It's possible that the domain owner doesn't know about the account and that someone cracked their security.
I use a laptop with the Firefox browser on Linux, kept evergreen. I cold-reboot (power down and up) daily most days and the problem is months old. I don't have a known firewall or antivirus program on the localhost or between the localhost and the Internet. The browser has no nondefault plugins and is set to clear its cache and delete all cookies every time it quits or starts. I have JavaScript turned on. I'm aware of the risk when I'm about to checkmark the checkbox, so I'm careful with aiming the cursor tip properly. Checkboxes with other emails work fine. Checkboxes at other websites work fine. I searched your past feedback for "checkbox" (without quote marks). I can probably send you the raw message of an erroneously-opened email if you ask soon, before I delete it from a "prob spam" folder.
So I wonder if a spam email can include programming code that can change the effect of a checkbox being clicked. If so, I wonder if that programming by a spammer can be disabled before it gets into our inbox.
All that should happen if I click in the checkbox is that a checkbox should toggle between clear and filled.
Thank you.

Yahoo is the worst re spam. Hundreds coming through every day, unlike gmail, Comcast etc. Come on Yahoo, get your spam filters working and effective. You've made yahoo mail essentially useless.

In 22 years as a Yahoo! customer, the viral SPAMMER "22222746@offer**-zoqloq.com" is the most abusive in volume and persistence by orders of magnitude. The "**" are the 2 digits that change after blocking. If there was a way to use a wildcard for these variable URLs that might help. Banning this spammer would be even better.

Please, please make your "Block" option work. I keep getting sexual spam emails I never asked for. I'm 73 years old. Blocking the senders address doesn't stop the filth.

From 10:00 A.M. this morning until 7:00 P.M. this evening, I have received a total of 594 SPAM MAIL in my SPAM folder. Now I have to look through that to see if anything that is NOT spam is in need to be sent back to my in box. I'm a 76 year old Disabled Vietnam Veteran and not very good at the internet. What I do know is that Yahoo, doesn't care, if they did they would make it easier to block this garbage, One last thing, don't bother asking for a reply, you won't get one.

Paying for customer support is a ******* ******** joke.
All I wanted to do was ask why I am getting 5-10 spam emails every day and why the spam filter is NOT blocking them when the emails are for eample:
𝖫𝖾 𝖢𝗋𝖾𝗎𝗌𝖾𝗍 𝖲𝗎𝗋𝗉𝗋𝗂𝗌𝖾 <support@tghsofjpa.selekkt.com>
To me that should be easy to recognize as spam.
I guess yahoo just isn't as good as google
