Video Ads & Sound Autoplay
Stop Video Ads and Sound from playing. It interrupts my conversations and everything else. If I like the ad, I will click on it. Do you want people to switch to other mail providers because of a simple fix? You need to post ads, I get it, but they do not need to autoplay. It's 2024. Other Email Providers are not doing this. I don't want to change my autoplay settings for all websites just because of yours.

Agreed 100%!! The Hyundai ad is like a smoke alarm. It almost gives me a heart attack, is extremely annoying, and I have to turn off the sound on my computer. I also can't figure out where it's coming from!! I've had yahoo for many years, but rather than purchasing the paid service, it makes me want to look around for other services. Annoying customers is not the way to get them to pay. Here's an idea...remove this problem and send an email outlining the nice things about the paid service, including NO ADS and keep your word on that, nice stationary with lots of choices (which you should be offering), perhaps emojis and animated emojis (which you may have but some may not know about), explain other features that are really helpful (like how to organize your inbox and auto delete certain emails after a couple of days...a feature that would be nice if you don't have it), etc.
