Cannot sort by starred as of late February 2025
A recent update (just prior to Feb 21, 2025) to Yahoo! Mail has removed the ability to sort by "starred". There is now a "filter" by "starred", but it does not function the same, in that it does not show recently-arrived emails to the inbox. I use starred emails as an indicator for important items that need attention or continual attention. It would be nice if the ability to sort by starred would be returned to Yahoo! Mail functionality.

Hello. Apparently, the ability to sort has been restored. I now just see the "Sort" drop-down, and not the new "Sort and Filter" drop down. As I mentioned (and at least one other had mentioned), the "Filter by Starred" did not keep a list of updated inbox mails. Thank you for restoring the sort-by-starred functionality.

You can no longer sort by ANYTHING other than time received and sender. Yahoo, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that we no longer need to sort our emails by unread or starred or anything else. I am furious about this and honestly - they just don't care.
