The old interface was better in many ways. It is harder to navigate between stocks now and lines do not all show up as configured (still).
- For several months the lines in the graphs when I add 3 simple moving averages do not always fully render. I could get around it by making the lines really thick.... annoying. New interface does not have option to make them thicker. not all 3 lines show up as configured.
- When I get the graph settings I want, I want to be able to step through each stock in my portfolio. This was missing, you have re-added it, but it always goes back to top, so I have to scroll down and find my place every time.
- The only reason I use Yahoo over Google Finance is because it is better and familiar... so if you keep making it different yet LESS functional for real use, I will abandon yahoo finance for something better.
Setup 3 portfolios...with at least 6 to 20 stocks in each. Setup three graph indicators. Use 22" or larger LED screen. Zoom to 120% on firefox. Now, navigate around all 3 portfolios and you tell me if its a good interface now?

Have you engineers/designers even tried to use the new chart? I couldn't control it after trying to zoom in and out over different time spans. Please go back to the old chart. If you feel the need to improve something, work on self-healing or something.

I have been using Yahoo since 1996 and I find it amazing that each year things get worse, not better. I have come to the conclusion that dumb folks like myself, who continue to patronize Yahoo are the reason it is still in existence. For charting, I will go to StockCharts.com. Better extremely late than never. Goodbye Yahoo.

Horrible setup.
Yahoo Finance did this to create more advertising space.
The user is not in the equation on this outcome .......it's all about the money. It was good while it lasted.

I'm trying to picture the mind set of the person at Yahoo who is controlling these changes. Read the pleas of the people below asking to be given the option to go back to the original charts. Would not a normal human feel bad about causing this pain? Forcing us to suffer adds few refinements, especially when you don't seem to act on the resulting suggestions.

Please just end the madness, go back to the old charts, tell us that this whole thing was just a cruel joke, and we can all start the healing process. Thank you.

Here's an obvious thought - if the Beta was better, there would be many hundreds of people saying how much they love it. I don't see that among the comments. One or two stray outliers say they like parts of it, but the vast majority hate it and seem to be edging towards hating Yahoo. Interesting Market plan.

I don't much like the new charts but really hate it when they are regularly crashing Firefox on both my computers which has been happening since you brought out the new charts a few days ago.

Someone should notify the big boys at Verizon, Yahoo's parent company, that someone is probably being paid-off to replace stock charts that have worked well for at least 10 years with ones that are essentially worthless.
