Until you complete all improvements, please retain the old for the customers. If anybody wants to go to new charts, there is a choise.

At the rate that "improvements" are (not) happening, they'd be better off to fire the entire charts staff and hire some people who know how to actually do this. It's been years now, and they're still slow, user-unfriendly, full of terrible misfeatures, and don't work on either PC or touchscreen environments. None of this design or code is worth saving. 100% proof of the fallacy of sunk cost. Rip it up and redo it.

Same old problem recurring today: Charts show candle for Thursday 12/14, followed by candle for today 12/18, with Friday missing.
This problem has popped up and gotten fixed more times than I can count.
I generally like the recent changes to the charts, but it seems Yahoo is unable/unwilling to keep a stable version of the software available to users.
This particular problem of the missing candle is more severe than you might realize. For people who want to glance at a chart looking for patterns, the missing candle throws the whole process off. You might see a big gap when it was really a smoother transition, or you might completely miss a reversal day, etc.

The new charts are horrible and useless in all ways, old charts were much better 100%. It is a misfortune that something good has been totally destroyed with this disastrous "improvement". I'm not using any more these impossible charts.
Why this absurd suicide? The change was sponsored by Metatrader and Visual Chart? (to erase rivals ...) GO BACK TO THE OLD CHARTS!! -

not simple to use at all. . . does not respond well . . .and also Portfolio page is out of wack. .. go back to your old pages and take the best from all to make your new pages, instead of reinventing the wheel

I have been waiting for one whole month hoping that I can see the graphs on Yahoo Finance. Amazingly , I am still waiting. I am running Windows 10 and using Edge browser. Please don't roll out a software product that is not ready at all !!! You can let users try Beta versions and if there is anything wrong, users can go back to the old version.

I am waiting for you to realize that we need the old charts. There was a lot of useful data there that we could put on spread sheets and now we can't and no improvements to these new charts will give us that. I spent several years building my tracking system and now that you made this massive change I can not get those values I needed. You can keep these new charts!! They will never be as good as the old.

Stop making people choose and bring the old site back and allow them to choose for themselves.

Can we have an option to keep the old charts. I really dislike the new ones.

Can anyone suggest an alternative? Yahoo Finance chart used to be the best. Now with chartIQ, it sucks, meaningless. chartIQ (should I say dump?) spreads out too much horizontally while the vertical scale is compressed. Oct 10 207: chartIQ displays BLANK on my chromebook.

Are they still working on charts? Or are they leaving them as is? Guess I need to find alternative charts.

Given the history at yahoo of not listening or caring about feedback, don't expect them to offer a choice. They did they same thing with the new portfolio change. Unbelievably arrogant.

My sentiments exactly. The new charts are so buggy that I'm done finally. Google, here I come.
More broadly, Yahoo Finance was once a viable financial site, appx.10-15 years ago. Somehow, inexplicably, as technology has gotten better, Yahoo Finance has become consistently worse in myriad aspects: reporting, chat rooms, layout, functionality, and now charting. It's shocking. -

STOP GOING LIVE WITH CHANGES TO CHARTS UNTIL YOU HAVE A FINAL PRODUCT THAT WORKS. It seems like every day I look at Yahoo Charts something has changed or broke. 1 Day Chart used to have a line showing previous days close. Then it was gone. Then found if I selected "Extended Hours" in settings and clicked the + (-?) button after hours activity including previous close would trend to left of chart. Today when I do that there's just blank space to the left of the chart.
