New charts causing Firefox to crash
Your new charting system is causing Firefox to crash. Although the charts display correctly initially, after about 20-30 seconds and presumably when data is updating, Firefox crashes. This is happening on two different computers so is not computer specific. Both computers are up-to-date and are on Windows 10.

typical yahoo, change something that works well into something worse and launch it before it even works, no wonder yahoo is going down

Also even in Chrome, due to the way the page loads, the first thing I want to do is scroll down. I normally use my mouse wheel to do that. However that causes the time span to expand or contract.

I just updated Firefox and flash and the chart doesn't even work in Firefox any more. Nothing. Blank chart. No way to add DOW or comparison. I can't believe you didn't beta test it in the latest version of Firefox!
I have an old version of Chrome and it works there, but Firefox is my default browser.

The new ChartIQ graphs are totally incompatible with Firefox. Not just a little, but locks up the browser, ties up massive memory block, and just doesn't work. Multiple users at worksite have seen the same symptoms and stopped using on Firefox. Seems to work a little better on Edge and Internet Explorer, but today is showing last value on at least one graph that is substantially higher than the real current value. Need an option to regress to the previous charting package until ChartIQ is a workable and accurate option, definitely not the case now.

You could put old chart back as it doesn't work.
1. Opening full screen, entire screen hangs.Only browser it seems to display it is chrome.
Nevermind, second time opening whichever full screen it shows basically straight line and crashes/hangs as well.Old ones back?

Firefox (version 55.0.3) crashes when selecting "Full Screen" for any chart. This just started happening yesterday (9-26-17) and does not happen in Google Chrome. Nothing has changed with my computer or my Firefox settings.

After trying your suggestions I still get this response
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

In debug this line is highlighted
if(!ctx) ctx=this.chart.context;

Starting on 9/26/2017, changing chart settings (as simple as choosing a date range) is making Firefox freeze and crash
