Problem solved!
Click settings, choose "basic mail". A sad face in a box will appear asking if you really want to go back to it. Click that you want to return to basic mail and voila! Just done it myself! Yahoo suck.

revenir à la version antérieure car impossible d'envoyer des messages
Bonjour. Avec la nouvelle version, je ne peux plus envoyer de mail (je n'ai qu'une tablette android), la fenêtre du message clignote et impossible d'écrire un message. Je ne peux pas non plus répondre aux mails reçus car je n'ai pas l'icône qui s'affiche. Dans les paramètres il ne m'est pas proposé de revenir à l'ancienne version. Je suis bloquée. Je vais devoir changer d'adresse mail et quitter yahoo si vous ne m'apportez pas de solution. Aidez-moi

Can't put my emails into folders
My icons are missing in the new format. I can't move my emails into folders.

Don’t like new layout, just want to see emails and not so much advertising. Please return to classic view.
Don’t like new layout and advertising, invasive and doesn’t allow easy access to emails. Please give us option to return to old view.

Changing sending name. How is this done?
The article that addresses the subject of changing sending name gives false directions since there isn't any More Settings link. Awful!
