Make deleted email recovery allow user to go back further than 7 days

Trying to recover deleted email thread from 6 months ago and cannot. Seems like this should be easily doable.

    Since last 12 years use yahoo mail please arrange my old important documents.

    Have lost everything in my InBox back to 2009! Really upset. IOS 13 chg changed protocol and appearance of actions for making deletions and I got confused - now everything I need is gone, and no way to recover - shame on Google and shame on Yahoo for not having advertised procedural changes and not providing workarounds for inadvertent mistakes. Terrible to loose so much critical personal history!!
