All emails lost
I don’t understand. I’m in tears. ALL of my emails are completely gone. Even archived ones. My old phone broke with my passwords, and was unable to get on my yahoo and hotmail. Life happens. I never received any type of warning/notification or anything. However, my Hotmail/outlook is fine although the timing was the same as yahoo. How can you do this to people?! I had photos and emails from my grandfather who has now passed. I had important documents. I had emails I absolutely loved and so many photos/memories. Other email services don’t do this to people. I have hotmail/outlook and gmail. You break people’s hearts. Please help restore our emails. Please. And please stop doing this. No one should use this It’s terrible.

All of mine were deleted today also. I reported it, an supposedly they are able to restore them. It’s been 8 hours now and still none are restored. I had important documentation deleted. Future classes deleted and pictures deleted. This is awful! I totally understand and feel the same! WTH Yahoo!!!!

This is AWFUL. How can they just delete everything?
They have my current phone number and my business email. They never sent me a warning. This is disgusting.
I'd really appreciate the memories back -

Triste y decepcionada, eliminar los correos sin autorización no se hace. Confiaba que estaban seguros. Juegan con los sentimientos y recuerdos de las personas.

Same happened here. Set this email up to send notes to our newborn daughter and give to her when she turns 16. She is 5 and everything is lost.

Fully agree. I signed up to yahoo in the mid nineties and I now see no alternative but to create and use a gmail account in future. I suspect most loyal yahoo customers like me will be forced to do the same. Goodbye yahoo and good riddance.
