How can we improve Yahoo Mail Mobile Web?

I don’t understand. I’m in tears. ALL of my emails are completely gone. Even archived ones. My old phone broke with my passwords, and was unable to get on my yahoo and hotmail. Life happens. I never received any type of warning/notification or anything. However, my Hotmail/outlook is fine although the timing was the same as yahoo. How can you do this to people?! I had photos and emails from my grandfather who has now passed. I had important documents. I had emails I absolutely loved and so many photos/memories. Other email services don’t do this to people. I have hotmail/outlook and gmail. You break people’s hearts. Please help restore our emails. Please. And please stop doing this. No one should use this It’s terrible.

If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated and its emails are deleted, more info here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2018.html

If this does not apply to you, You can try doing a search or doing an email restore if the email was deleted in the past 7 days.

In case you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via http://yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.

    Did everyone yahoo account got completely emptied, all my messages and photo I was saving on my account is gone.

    You keep sending me messages about changes to accounts regarding storage of emails, but to comply with your new goalposts I would need to delete older emails. There dont seem to be any easy way of doing this. Perhaps if you could set that up, so that I can declutter my inbox and folders that would make it easier to be more disciplined.

    Yahoo is a garbage....no body can improve you. Poeple stopped using yahoo email was absolutely right..You bastards deleted my old emails and dont have any option to recover..... u bastards

    I lost my all all mails from my all 3 id's. This is really very bad and psinful. There were so many important things in my mail, I lost all of them. Please help me how to get them back.

    A yahoo account is for the email! It makes no sense for emails to be deleted after 1yr/12 months of inactivity and the account be deleted after 2yrs/24months of inactivity and with no notification given to any of the recovery options about a deletion of mailbox or account. I can understand not being able to receive mail, but to permanently delete the account mailbox thoroughly makes no sense whatsoever!! The mailbox should be given the same amount of time as the account.
    There’s no need for the account if not for the mailbox/email correspondence; it’s the whole reason for the account. You don’t know what people are going through.

    My idea is not to delete someone's emails because they hadn't signed in a while however when I tried to sign in because the two-step verification phone number is being different I had to wait 360 days or something in order to get the email link to get into my account by the time I did bam all my emails all my contacts everything was gone I have had Yahoo email the longest out of any email addresses I can't believe you would do this to me

    I often don't get message that e-mail(s) is waiting. Due this late letting me know, I missed an important e-mail from my doctor - surgeon.!!

    WHY do some of my emails delete without me even getting to see them?!!???? I searched the help section, nothing in there was helpful at all. I absolutely hate what you've done to my simple, easy email. Update the friggin help files!!!

    Before putting someone’s inactive email into “pause” & deleting existing emails PLEASE notify person first! Via text, phone or other emails on file. I didn’t know too much time had passed & now all my previous emails are GONE. Most of us have emails we want to keep!
