How can we improve Yahoo Mail Mobile Web?

I don’t understand. I’m in tears. ALL of my emails are completely gone. Even archived ones. My old phone broke with my passwords, and was unable to get on my yahoo and hotmail. Life happens. I never received any type of warning/notification or anything. However, my Hotmail/outlook is fine although the timing was the same as yahoo. How can you do this to people?! I had photos and emails from my grandfather who has now passed. I had important documents. I had emails I absolutely loved and so many photos/memories. Other email services don’t do this to people. I have hotmail/outlook and gmail. You break people’s hearts. Please help restore our emails. Please. And please stop doing this. No one should use this It’s terrible.

If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated and its emails are deleted, more info here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2018.html

If this does not apply to you, You can try doing a search or doing an email restore if the email was deleted in the past 7 days.

In case you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via http://yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.

    Login to my email account and all of my emails are gone what I had pics of my kids in there that I can't ever get back. Please fix this

    I had my resume in my email now it’s gone… also my cash app sent me a verification message and I still haven’t received it

    Why would you delete old emails?????? SERIOUSLY ? That is why people create new emails if they want to clear their entire inbox???? At least give the option to the users when they log in again, there’s some old account passwords that I had from this email.. RIP, now I see why yahoo mail is a dying/dead service.

    Any way to recover old emails that were deleted because of inactivity? I really need those emails and just found my password to log back in. Very important information in those emails

    From what I've read Yahoo has had two major breaches.. In 2013 and 2016. Most websites I've used, including banking websites, have an automatic timeout when user is logged in but not actively using the site. I would think it's a no brainer by now to have this on Yahoo mail, considering these breaches. But to this day, I accidentally leave my mail open, and it's still open a day later.. What gives?
