Improve your spam filters. Gmail does a much better job than Yahoo mail
Please improve your spam filter. I continue to get spam email about vulgar topics even when filters are created to block them

Something changed with the SPAM filter a few weeks ago and it is no longer working. A lot of SPAM emails are now coming into my inbox.

Give better filters to send spam to junk folders instead of sending them to the regular inbox, clogging up it up with just spam.

Make domain blocking free since yahoo is grossly deficient in that NUMEROUS, blocked and spam emails still come through. For real yahoo? Time to catch up to Gmail’s etc. I’ll be discontinuing yahoo in the near future to meet my business needs. I mean 20 to 30 spam emails a day is very distressing.

We need a way to manage our account to stop spam. Unsubscribing is useless, often confirming to the sender they have a legitimate account to continue to email. A way to turn off the account temporarily so that when the spam comes it goes back to them as closed. I’ve tried blocking senders, it doesn’t work.

I am truly sick and tired of having to report all the junk mail that comes through every day. I am not sure if this "feed back" will get to concerned ears, but it is a fact that i will be eliminate/delete this yahoo account after so many years. It is so ridiculous the amount of JUNK mail that I have to sort out every single day!!! I will tell my friends and family not to better with yahoo. Yahoo is the worst ever.

Within the last 3 days I’ve received a huge amount of spam/junk mail in my inbox. I am very close to closing this email account that I’ve had for over 20 years. Very disappointed.

Too much spam. I mark emails as spam and then get another email from the same domain the next day. I mark it as spam again. Guess what, another email from the same domain the next day (Explain It Daily, I'm looking at you). Be FAR more aggressive with blocking spam. Most users of Yahoo are legacy users (i.e., older). They are the most hindered and harmed by spam. Help protect them.

I don’t like that I can’t create filters on the mobile site and I am unable to access the desktop sit from my mobile device.
My spam is out of control. I will be moving away from Yahoo unfortunately.

Why don’t you vet your advertisers? I usually delete the ads you post in mail but recently I was about to open an email when one of your ads popped up and it opened up instead of the email. The ad was one of those ones for “singles” and I closed it immediately. The result of accidentally opening that ad have been extraordinarily frustrating. My spam folder is now receiving 4 or more emails a day that can only be classified as *********** in that they are attempting to solicit sex. Of course Yahoo doesn’t care because they don’t vet their advertisers, and they are hoping that we will cave in and pay them a monthly fee to obtain the ability to block senders. Luckily my phone has its own mail service and it allows me to block senders free of charge. The morons who send them keep using different email addresses so I still have to add them to the block list on a daily basis but I will not be paying Yahoo their ransom money they are trying to extort from their account holders. I am starting to think that they do this purposely to try and make us all cave in to their demands but I believe the simplest solution is to just stop using Yahoo Mail! That will solve the problem they themselves have created.

I get a half dozen emails a day with the same subject. There is a number replacing a letter, or bold or italic, or subtle differences. Every day I report them as spam, and the next day I get a half dozen more. No other email client filters so poorly. Fix it
